* Curly qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and from 1988 to 2000, was a partner in a Leeds based accountancy practice with responsibility for developing the business consultancy part of the practice, both internally and on behalf of clients. She also had particular responsibility for all the team members in the practice.

* She has received training as a Business and Life Coach and is qualified as a Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).The art and science of creating human excellence.

* Curly understands the need for continuous personal development and is committed to spending a minimum of 12 days per year attending training courses and seminars.

PS She also loves sailing and pushed her comfort zone recently by spending a week on the Solent qualifying as a RYA Day Skipper
