My day started early with a breakfast meeting at my Rotary club in Leeds.I always really enjoy our meetings for lots of reasons. However, there is one reason in particular that I would like to share with you
At the end of each meeting we finish off with passing around the "happy pound" box.All the proceeds go to our favourite charity,Lineham Farm Children's Centre. Each person takes it in turn to put a pound in the box and say why they are happy. This morning we had some great ones.David was happy because his son was getting better, Deborah was happy because she had a phone call which would bring her some work.I was happy because my good friend Babs(who was also there, and also very happy) is getting married on 26th June
So on my way to the office I was thinking "isn't that a great way to start the day?.To think about, and be grateful for the "happy " moments. What a great focus"
So ask yourelf"If I had been sitting at that table this morning, what would I have said when I put my happy pound in the box?"
